This watch is a great daily time piece.The Eco-Drive Solar Quartz movement is durable, accurate and does not require battery changes for an extended period of time with many users stating the watch has operated smoothly for more than 10 years. The case design feels extremely robust and is backed up by ISO Certified 200m water resistance. To further add to this, it also includes a screw down crown for more security. The lume is extremely good and the watch also features a date window. Lastly, I confidently chose this time piece as my daily due to Citizen’s excellent warranty as well as the service center being only 45 mins from my home.When it comes to appearances, I personally enjoy the look of this time piece and have very little to complain about. This piece also comes in a multitude of colours and you will definitely find one that you would enjoy wearing on your wrist!Since this is a quartz watch, due note that there are times when the second’s hands to not line up the the markings inside the dial. Mine did not have this issue but it is something to note! I did however run into this issue with my Citizen BM8180-03E which I also purchased on Amazon and this is where Citizen’s warranty and service center location adds great value to this time piece.I dropped off my timepiece at their service center and filled out a short form for personal information. I received email confirmation of them accepting my time piece and after 4 weeks, I received my watch back with properly lined up seconds hand!Overall the only downsides I can think of is the strap. It definitely feels a bit stiff when you first get it but there are tricks you can find online such as using warm water and a cup to help form it to fit your wrist better!***Note***This Amazon sold model does not come with the strap that has the text for non decompression times and did not come in the traditional scuba bottle box.

Purchased this product almost a month ago. At first the packing. It was a huge box wrapped by some protective layer. Inside that box was lying a scuba tank which is worth seeing. Inside that tank, was the watch.Next the watch. You will be amazed to see the beauty of it. The polished stainless steel case, the glossy crown with the Promaster emblem in it, the highly glossy outline of the index markers will mesmerize you. The hands are beautiful with the hour hand outlined by glossy stainless steel, minute hand with vibrant orange outline, and the second hand is a thin white hand with a lume at the tip. The hour & minute hands are wide enough to see the time at any lighting condition. The dial is the deep navy blue colour (my favourite colour) on which the index marks & the hands really pop out. The bezel is also of deep navy blue colour. The strap is also navy blue colour which you may change if you donot like rubber strap.Now come to the time keeping capability of the watch. Its running 2 seconds late after 24 days. That means -3 seconds per month which is highly satisfied as you have to adjust time once in a year.Next the charging. The charging is quite fast. I opened the packing at night & after some exposure to the table lamp, it started running & I was amazed to see it running when I woke up in the morning though in a 2 seconds interval. After exposing it beside the window after about 2 hours, it began to tick in 1 second interval.Now the most striking feature of this watch – lume. Its awesome. You cannot understand this feature at the daytime, but at night, even in the middle of night, after 5 hours of last exposure to light, you can clearly see the glowing hands & markers with the naked eye (generally i use specs for reading & writing but to see timing in this watch, I donot use specs, it is so prominent). I was searching such feature in a watch for a long time & it is completely fulfilled by this watch. I really love it.Now the cons. The date window is really small though you can somehow manage to see it. the day is missing. The dial is quite large for small to medium wrists. The strap is of rubber.Final verdict : Every watch in this world has some pros & cons. It has also some. But despite it’s cons, you should go for this watch without any hesitation as the appearance of the watch with deep navy blue dial & luminous hands & markers is great, the visibility of the hands is extraordinary, the lume is amazing with about -3 seconds variation per month. Its a must have watch.Addition after 7 months : it is running 8 secs late i.e., almost 1 sec per month. excellent.

Tengo muchos relojes automáticos pero andaba buscando uno de quarzo. Tenia un reloj Orient muy parecido a este similar al Mako 2. Compre este para ver si lo podía suplir. En calidad supero al Orient un 100%. Lo único que no me agrado es el bezel que es de 60 clicks y no se siente como los del seiko, pero te aseguro que no es malo solo no se siente como un Seiko. El dial es de excelente calidad mejor que los skx007/009 . Las manecillas excelente. El Lume súper brillante y en dos tonos. El brillo del dial es azul y el brillo del bezel es verde me gusto ese detalle de dos colores. Los acabados del case son excelentes. Otra cosa que no me agrado es que la tapa requiere una llave especial para cambiar la batería, aun que este reloj tiene una batería recargable así que no creo que sea problema en unos años resalto que esto por que rara vez dejo que le metan mano a mis relojes por lo general y mientras se pueda yo los reparo y les doy servicio. Calculo que la vida de la batería seria unos 6 años por experiencia. La fecha me gusto el lugar y el tamaño aun que para una persona que utilice lentes pueda ser algo chico. Por ultimo lo compre en oferta y es lo que mas me gusto.19/Jun/2018Se puede abrir la tapa trasera con llave de 2 pines aun que me decepciono ver la maquina tan pequeña que lleva dentro. Espero sea duradera. Hasta ahorita el reloj sin problemas. Queria un reloj de quarzo aunque soy mas de automático pero siempre se requieren algunos de quarzo.

I bought this to replace my lost Citizen Eco-Drive Promaster 300M Diver’s Watch BN0000-04H. This watch is only 200m rated and, the fact is, I’ve never been any deeper than 3m in water with any of the watches I own; So yeah only a minor difference from my old one. This new model does however have features I do like better such as a bigger and easier to read dial and date, a larger & offset crown (making it comfortable on the wrist), and a better looking rubber strap. However, the old 300m one had details that I wished this one had – the older model had a mono block body (no screw-off case back), a beautifully embossed (almost carved) world logo on the back casing, a fully knurled rotating bezel and a gorgeous waffled textured black face for the dial. The back of this watch has only been laser etched with the eco drive logo. This watch really reminds me of my old Seiko divers from the 1980’s more so than my old Citizen 300m…and that’s altogether not a bad thing. Details aside, it’s a great watch and I think it would’ve been greater had Citizen added a day & date on that front dial instead of just a date. If this model holds up to the standards of ruggedness and reliability of the old one I had lost, then I can rest assured I’ll have a great time piece for many years to come…provided of course I don’t lose this one.

I’m not going to write some detailed review as there are plenty of other sources for that info. What I will do is mention a few things that some Amazon shoppers may be interested in.First – I purchased this on April 15/2019 and received a serial number with an October 2018 manufactured date. That’s pretty good so you shouldn’t have any worries about old stock here.Second – Every thing out of the box was bang on. The minute/hour hands are on point and the second hand is hitting every mark. The bezel is also very solid. I have no wiggle on mine like some reviews state. I am extremely happy with the build of this watch.Third – While the lume is very bright and much better than most other watches I’ve seen it doesn’t last nearly as long as some people will have you believe. I have no idea how some people can claim it lasts into the middle of the night. It does not.Fourth – Mine came in a very nice small circular type storage box. Not the scuba tank like some reviews say. Not sure if that was an older packaging or if it’s limited to certain regions but you will not receive that here. Still though, the storage box it comes in is actually rather nice and small making it great for storage when not in use. This was actually a pleasant surprise for me as it’s not just some cheap ugly throw-away box. It looks very nice and could go on a dresser for display.That’s about it. This is a fantastic watch. Very accurate and looks fantastic. Love it.

I’ve had this watch for about 3 weeks now, and really love it! The comments about it being heavy are totally wrong to me. I’m used to wearing a heavy Swiss Army watch, and this is light in comparison. Several users have mentioned that the band feels cheap. From my own experience with other high end watches, I’d say that it does not feel cheap. It is not very thick and heavy feeling, but it does feel solid, and is very comfortable on the wrist. The links are all 100% solid SS, so you know it will last years. Also, love the push button deploy clasp. One other thing that I noticed that no one has mentioned, is that the whole bracelet is brushed SS, EXCEPT at the bottom 1/8th of the middle link it is polished. It really adds to the beauty of the band.Some other observations that go against what others mentioned:1. I can read the small numbers just fine and I’m 45 years old with about 15/20 eyesight, and don’t wear reading glasses.2. I’ve used the slide rule functions on several occasions. Tip calculator, large multiplication/division, converting lbs to kg and vice versa. It is a very cool tool.3. The size on my wrist looks just right. It does not wear very big to me. I think the fashion is getting more towards larger watches, and this would be a maximum large watch for a 6″ wrist, but for a 7″ wrist, it is not overly large. I would even go 44mm and I think that would be my limit.4. The lume is exceptional. I can still see it perfectly at 5am with no charge before going to bed.5. The date window is just fine for my eyes. Just hold it a little closer to your face and you can see just fine.6. Seconds hand lines up on almost all of the second marks, but there are a few spots around the perimeter that it does not line up. No big deal.7. Time is right on, measured over 3 weeks against an atomic clock.8. No chrono and alarm, big deal, don’t really need that anyway.9. Crown screws down nicely and feels fairly solid.10. The only thing I wish this had was a sapphire crystal. But when it gets scratched, and after the 5 year warranty, I’ll have them put on a sapphire crystal. But in the meantime, it really is a beautiful flat crystal that is proud of the top of the watch and bezeled at a 45 degree angle, making it look very nice.11. The watch came from Amazon charged, so all I had to do was set the time and it has worked fine ever since. I left it on my dashboard a few bright sunny days to charge it while I worked out in the gym, and it has held its charge no problem.Overall, I’d say get this watch if you can get it under $250. It is money well spent. With a 5 year warranty, that is an incredible warranty from amazon. Not even Tag Heur/Oris/Brietling/Rolex have a warranty like that!

Watch was a birthday present and so far I love it. I’ve had it for a week and everything seems to be perfect.Build quality is great, but I’m a bit spoiled by my Omega Seamaster, so I would give a 8/10 for overall quality. The -2 points goes to less comfortable bracelet than the Omega (not very fair considering the price difference). Without a reference, I think I might give a solid 9.5/10Very easy to size the links, took me 10 minutes to adjust with just a hammer and a small pin. I have a very small wrist, so I’ve taken out all the links and it fits great. (6-6.25″?)Haven’t tested with water, but not planning to swim or shower with it unless necessary.Watch wears a bit heavy, but that’s what I prefer.Overall, elegant look and great build quality. can’t go wrong with this piece.

Me sirvió increíble en un viaje al otro lado del mundo con diferencia horaria de 13 horas, solo ajusté la hora gmt y en todo momento sabía la hora local y la hora en mi casa inclusive si era de noche o día, y además con la regla de cálculo ajusté para hacer la conversión de moneda y poder analizar los precios pensando en la moneda que yo uso sin tener que estar usando el celular a cada rato.

I bought this to replace a Seiko 5 that broke after 10 years of use (not the watch’s fault it broke). I was a little hesitant to get another automatic watch because I was only wearing it on days I worked, and winding up after my weekend was not my favorite thing. After some research I decided on the Citizen Eco-drive movement.I also wanted something with a day/date feature and 24 hour time on the dial. The world clock feature was a huge bonus as I travel often. I was very happy to find this watch with all the features I wanted and nothing I didn’t need.I was concerned about the size as I had never had a 44mm case and I don’t have big arms, but I measured and cut a diagram on a piece of paper and taped it on my wrist and decided it would be a good size. I will say I wouldn’t want to go any bigger than this, but the utility and readability is well worth a little extra real estate over my previous watch.ProsLooks better in person – elegant without being overly dressyVery easy to set. The analog calendar turned out to be faster to adjust than I imagined.Easy to use the world clock feature. Just check the 24 hour hand and then use the lower dial to turn the outer ring to match that number to your current time zone, and you can see what hour it is anywhere in the world.It looks smaller in person than I imagined, probably because there is so much going on on the face.It is very quiet. I tried a few other watches and the timex in particular was annoyingly loud. This one is almost dead silent for me.Solar powered, no battery replacement or winding needed. Mine came with a decent charge out of the box, but I still put it in the sun for a few hours before setting it. Refer to the manual for specifics.Looks great with NATO straps. I swapped out the leather strap right away because it is hot where I live now and I’m not a huge fan of colored leather.ConsIncluded strap is a bummer. The quality seems fine but I couldn’t figure out how to adjust it by myself and the manual suggested I consult a watch fitter. Pish posh. I popped it off with a tiny screwdriver and threw on a cheap NATO strap in a few minutes and never looked back.On that note, I might have made more effort if the included strap was brown or black. Blue leather just seems icky to me. But if that’s your thing, and you don’t mind taking the time to get it sized up, I guess it seems like a decent quality for the price

This is a large men’s watch with a 44 mm diameter dial, polished stainless steel.I’d say it’s more of a dressy/office watch, but it could do casual.This is not a chronograph, if that’s what you’re looking for, this isn’t it.The watch has 3 working sub dials, the sub dial at 3 O’clock shows the date, the sub dial at 6 shows the hour in 24 hour format, and the sub dial at 9 shows the day.There are two crowns, one at the normal position to adjust the time and the sub dials, and one at the 4 O’clock position to rotate the inner scale to give you the time in a 2nd time zone.Lots to look at on this watch:If you look closely, you’ll see the crisp white dial has two different textures on it and 3 different levels.The rings on the sub dials have tiny little metal edges around them and the indices on the chapter ring are chamfered.The watch is good down to 100M which means you an go swimming and snorkeling with it, but it’s not a dive watch.The price might seem a bit steep, but in my opinion, you’re getting a lot of watch for the money.Likes:Keeps great time (expected since it has a quartz movement) and with Eco Drive, you shouldn’t have to worry about a battery (capacitor in this case) for close to a decade.The more time you spend with it, the more you see all the detail Citizen put into the watch.The navy blue leather strap goes with the blue hands and the deployment clasp is well done and detailed, looks like it was forged and not just stamped.The watch looks great on the wrist and the blue watch hands change shades as the light hits them.DIslikes:The deployment clasp can dig a bit into your wrist if you adjust the strap to that it’s really snug.The crowns don’t have a stamp on them, they are blank, which is odd for a watch costing this much.Reading the Hour and the Day dials takes a little practice.Really, not much to complain about. It’s a great watch, just different enough to be interesting.

Ótimo custo benefício! Excelente diver para o dia a dia. A mídia não pôde ser carregada. O relógio é muito mais bonito em mãos. Pesquisei muito antes de realizar a compra e não me arrependo. Ele veio com a embalagem de tanque de oxigênio, muito elegante! Estou usando como relógio diário. Tenho o pulso fino e mesmo assim veste bem pois não aparenta ser grande. Infelizmente não veio com a tabela de descompressão na pulseira, mas é original, através do código na tampa é possível determinar o ano de fabricação.
