UPDATE: I know this isn’t a huge deal but the watch is fast a couple of seconds. I’ve had it less than a month and it’s not at the same level of my other Citizen. Not enough to return the watch but still a little annoying.This is my second watch by Citizen, my first being a Promaster Diver. I love this watch for a variety of reasons. First of all, I love the Eco-drive feature as I will never have to worry about my watch dying on me and changing batteries. It came uncharged right out of the box but started up within seconds (it did the 2-second tick). The watch itself is very nice looking and is not flashy. I like the black finish on the case and the matching finish on the buckle. Something else that I really liked was the tan (beige?) numbers and markings. It really gave it a vintage feel in my opinion.As for the strap, I read a lot of people were having issues with it being short. It fits my wrist with two holes left over so it fits but I wish it was a little longer so I could put the extra band through the loops. I am not a huge fan of canvas but this one feels nice and isn’t itchy. The band is a bit stiff but I’m hoping it will soften up as it gets worn.Since the numbers aren’t flush to the rim of the case (there is a bezel), the watch wears smaller than 43mm. I appreciate this as I was worried that it would look oversized on my wrist. Additionally, some people mentioned that the second hand wasn’t lining up correctly with the markings. I didn’t have this issue at all. A leaflet came in the box telling me how to register it and how to set the time/date.Overall, I would highly recommend this watch. I got this watch for $140 in April 2020.

Very nice watch, stylish and a good price. I would have gave it 5 stars but the band is ridiculously short. That’s ok, I ordered a NATO style band for it.

I haven’t exactly tested the watch’s water resistance(hence why I couldn’t give it full stars).The watch face is beautiful. It keeps time extremely well. And it is an Eco-Drive so it keeps charged without much intervention on my part.The biggest issue is the wristband. I have fairly narrow wrist(mostly skin, bones, and tendons) for a guy that is 6’1″; however, I can only wear the band on the first or second hole out of 8. I’m not sure who they think will wear this(especially on hole 8) other than children. The band is fabric so it does stretch and contract some, but even after stretching I’ve only ever gotten it to hole 3 and then it was so tight it threatened my circulation. While I’ve kept the band, I debate changing it for another. If you have larger wrist, you will certainly need a new band with this.

This watch has the balance of elegant simplicity, easy readability, light weight (due to the use of titanium which is a third the weight of steel), and high quality of finishing. It charges itself as long as it’s in any kind of light, so will never need a battery change. The crystal is sapphire, so it is very resistant to any kind scratching that would scratch up an acrylic or glass lens. The only cons are that the date window is small and may be difficult to read, and the watch band pins are solid steel with a compression sleeve, so resizing the band does require a pin removal tool, a strong magnifying glass, and great care to find and carefully remove the compression sleeve at the pivot point to the next link. Very fine watch tweezers are helpful. A compression sleeve in the link pivot is crucial to ensure the when the pin is reinserted, it stays put instead of sliding out. Overall, this is a great looking watch and I’m happy.

Ligero de titanio.

As a lover of all things Titanium, I had been looking at this watch for quite a while. The Eco drives are VERY accurate time pieces, and being solar powered is nice not having to deal with batteries.Titanium is less heat conductive than Stainless steel, so it’s slower to transfer heat away (or to) your wrist, meaning the watch is more comfortable to wear in colder or hotter weather than my stainless watches. Being Titanium it’s also nice and light, for a decent sized watch it’s barely noticeable to wear.Light shining on the watch face is a treat, and my favorite part; the different elements of the face reflect at different angles so it’s always highlighting the different aspects of the watch face. Although the watch may appear ‘subtle’ it’s one of the nicest watches in the details. The strap flats are a fine brushed finish with the angled sides being polished. It’s always a pleasure to wear!

The green dial is beautiful on this watch. It brings back old memories for me. My parents bought me a Longines watch with a similar green dial for my high school graduation. This watch is very comfortable on the wrist. I highly recommend this watch. It’s a great value for the money.

Citizen is a good brand, and reputable. Very light due to the Titanium case, strong but light. Silicone band and comes with an additional band inside the plastic ballistic style box. Very cool. The watch case is large and the face appears small but is very readable. The markers glow strong when energized. The case has a stone dark grayish tone and with the green looks awesome. No batteries, no winding, no hassel. ANY light will charge the watch. Quality is known and reputable. A known jewelry store is selling this EXACT watch for 600.00! Great watch! UPDATE: So been wearing this watch over a week and the ONLY thing is applying n removing the watch band. The tip of the band slightly wider than the entry part of the buckle and being of rubber material not easy to go through the buckle. Maybe designed like that but not sure. All I know a bit of a pain. I’m going to change the band. Still a cool looking watch!

Ótimo custo benefício para um relógio pro dia a dia. A mídia não pôde ser carregada. Peguei o relógio numa BAITA promoção da Amazon, já estava de olho nele faz tempo..O relógio “encaixou” muito bem no meu pulso (18cm)A pulseira é boa, mas dá pra fazer upgrade por algo mais refinado.O único demérito é o mostrador de día, é muito pequeno, fica difícil ver o número..De resto um ótimo relógio custo benefício para o dia a dia .

For the last several years I’ve worn an Apple Watch and liked the features and notifications but always felt it just looked ugly. No strap or case could fix that. So, I finally replaced the Apple Watch and bought this. I’m super happy with it. It looks nice dressed up and dressed down. It doesn’t need to be charged daily like my Apple Watch but it does what it’s supposed to.Two things that aren’t really issues but matters of preference. I hate leather straps, I can’t wear them in the shower/swimming, and so when I bought this I bought another silicone strap and love it. Second thing, I miss being able to see the time clearly at night or in the dark. I wish this watch had a backlight, or tritium hands.Overall, very pleased. Looks great, fits great and almost never comes off my wrist.

The luminous dial is not as visible in the dark, as other cheaper watches I have purchased in the past, somewhat disappointed

This watch is beautiful, elegantly simple, and works perfectly. The date display is perfectly sized. Unlike some watches I own, I can easily read the date on this one. I particularly wanted the solar charged battery that drives this watch. This is my second Citizen watch with the solar powered battery. I also purchased another one for my son a few years ago that he loves and wears daily. Citizen pioneered this technology and it works superbly. I will be reluctant to ever again purchase a watch that requires a traditional battery that wears out and requires replacement. When I first took this watch out of its box and set the time, it initially ran a little slow and did not keep time accurately. But, after allowing it to be exposed to light for a little while (less than an hour), I re-set it and it has kept perfect time since. I would have preferred a genuine leather wrist band. I will get one if and when I need a replacement band. But the one that comes with the watch is certainly attractive, comfortable and functional and you have to feel it and look very closely to notice it is not genuine leather. I give this watch five stars!

Reloj elegante y muy ligero, va perfecto con traje pero también combina con ropa casual. El que sea ecodrive hace que te olvides de cambiarle la pila por mucho tiempo. Muy recomendable.
