Greetings, wow a great watch. I have the original which is fairly old and hard to get parts for. This is the updated Citizens Promaster Dive Eco-Drive watch and I love it. The watch face is slightly larger in circumference which I like. the weight is good, it still feels there on your wrist. The overall appearance is clean and smart. The only thing I did not care for is the strap. It feels like stiff plastic. I use clasp to keep my watches on my wrist. I put one on this watch and it looks good. The adjustment crown is off set down which is a good improvement. When you bend your wrist tightly the crown is not sticking into your back hand. Now, the crown is offset and out of the way for when you are working out or working with tools. Did I say the watch is good looking? It needs to said again. The watch looks real good on my wrist. As I am a US Navy trained US Marine Diver this watch is a very nice replacement and slight upgrade. The price is good too. The seller delivered the watch fast. No waiting, just good service.

Recomendo, antes de usar, colocar diretamente frente à luz solar por umas 6 horas antes de usar para uma boa carga inicial da bateria.Eu tenho pulso largo, então, a pulseira original ficou a conta, além de que, por ser de fivela, a meu ver, não é prático, por isso, encomendei uma pulseira de aço inox para a troca. No caso desse relógio, precisa ser uma pulseira de 23mm de largura. Essas pulseiras de reposição, geralmente, vem com um kit de ajuste para que o próprio usuário possa diminuir o tamanho, caso seja necessário, sem a necessidade de um relojoeiro. Certifique-se de escolher essas!No mais, o relógio é muito bonito, de tamanho ideal para quem tem punho lar, ou seja, não muito grande nem muito pequeno, dá um certo estilo a quem o utiliza, tem ajuste automático de hora ao se trocar nele o fuso horário, apesar de eu não tenho uso para isso, tem cronógrafo, o que dá uma certa distinção no seu visual.Esse já é o terceiro Citizen eco-drive que possuo, sendo que o primeiro, com mais de15 anos em uso, ainda precisou trocar a bateria. O segundo é um Citizen Corso, social, que comprei há alguns meses, muito bonito também, mas seu visual não chega aos pés do primeiro e desse Blue Angels.Enfim, recomendo.

I’ve actually been scoping this watch since before I really got into watches, almost 8 years ago- never found a price I liked and always put it off. Never thought the retailer that would eventually tempt me to pull the trigger would be Amazon, but at $339CAD before tax this is the lowest I’ve ever seen this watch sell for, new, from a trusted seller.I’m pleased to report that even after learning a bunch about watches in the last 8 years these specs still hold up. Here are just some highlights:-The sapphire crystal is immense and slightly raised above the bezel.-Being solar powered and radio controlled, you ostensibly never have to set the watch. Mine came out of the box with daylight saving mode enabled, and sure enough, the last DST End date passed and I woke up to find my watch reflecting the new time.-Alignment on the slide rule is quite good, and has the conversion indices you would expect to see on a pilot’s slide rule. Use it to convert between Imperial and Metric, or Statute and Nautical, but mostly use it if you want to show off that you know how to use an E6B.-Despite my slim 180mm wrist the watch doesn’t appear gigantic. Normally my cut-off size for wristwatches is 42mm but this watch doesn’t look out of place on me. This is thanks in large part to a trick the watch pulls, which I’ll get to shortly.-Switching timezones is real simple- once you learn how you won’t have to consult the manual for it again. Great for travellers.-200m water resistance makes this a real do-anything, anytime tool watch.-Mine came with perfectly aligned hands right out of the box, but if yours doesn’t you can actually change the zero position of the hands without opening the watch! Dig through the manual to find out how.And here’s some things to be mindful of:-That trick the watch does to appear smaller? Yeah it does that by having the lug holes drilled as close as possible to the case without the springbars actually touching it. Give up on matching this with a nice aftermarket bracelet because it simply won’t fit. If you’re committed to making it work like I was, I suggest taking some longer 24mm springbars and bending them slightly to position the bracelet’s end-links away from the case. Even then that bracelet is going to mar your case from constantly rubbing against it.-speaking of straps good luck finding a 23mm strap that matches the Blue Angels colours. I’ve contented myself with 22mm woven straps, but I’m sure you can get a 24mm NATO strap in there too.-a NATO strap will not thread effortlessly through the watch- you need to take the springbars off first. They’re just that close to the case.-I live in Ottawa, ON and the time-correcting radio signal that should reach me nightly only gets through to the watch once every 6 or 7 days, and never when I try to call upon it “on demand”. Perfectly fine for my purposes, but it makes me wonder what reception is like farther north. You can set the watch manually, you just need the manual or some practice to do it; it is not intuitive.-The smaller markings are really, really small. You won’t be able to use the slide rule in the cockpit, or any moving vehicle. The chronograph’s 60-minute subdial is very hard to read when the needle is in-between the 5-minute indices. I would’ve preferred a 30-minute subdial in its place, maybe replacing the 24hr subdial with a chrono-hour subdial.-The leather strap is attractive, but it does wear out and is expensive to replace. I’m finding the Marine Nationale-style straps to be comfortable, lower-profile and easy to take on and off- no hunting for the right buckle-hole. Plus they really fit with the theme of the watch. I’ve yet to try them but Ericasoriginals.com has a really nice blue strap with yellow stitching in 23mm- I’ll try it next.-The lume on this thing is downright bad- if you turn off the lights in a windowless room you won’t be able to read the time until your eyes adjust a bit. In daylight however, the watch reads great, even in spite of the busy dial- all twelve hour indices are there and they catch the light magnificently.TLDR; If you live up north, don’t count on being able to get that time-correcting radio signal. Also don’t bother with replacement metal bracelets, just get a NATO or MN strap. Finally, if you can get this for below $350 then absolutely go for it.

Ótimo mas não é pra todos os pulsos. Relógio é top, mas não é pra mim… Muito pequeno, pra quem está acostumado com caixa de 40mm e pulseira de 20mm…melhor ir pra outro modelo…. Sobre o relógio muito bem acabado, mostrador muito bonito e a pulseira de ótima qualidade.

Excelente casual. Relogio solar (não precisa de bateria), muito bem acabado, minimalista, para o dia a dia, leve, pequeno (37mm de caixa), confortavel e com pulseira em lona verde escuro, estilo militar, que se torna mais confortavel com o uso. Pode ser trocada por uma pulseira em couro café ou caramelo, que também fica bem bacana. Relógio inspirados naqueles que eram utilizados pelos americanos na 2ª Guerra Mundial. Fiquei muito satisfeito.

Bateria com duração pífia. O relógio é bonito. A pulseira é horrível, precisei trocar. Mas o grande problema é o sistema ecodrive. A bateria não sustenta 24h guardado numa gaveta. E antes tinha deixado 2 dias numa janela

Me gustó mucho , muy bonito y el precio más barato que en México . El único detalle es que la caja vino rota , pero el reloj está en perfectas condiciones . Enviado desde Alemania hasta México, el reloj se puede configurar en español y en inglés ! .

I don’t usually think too much about my purchases – if I like something I need and can afford it, I get it. I don’t like how smart watches quantify every aspect of one’s existence, and I only started wearing a watch after I inherited an old Eco-Drive from my father a few years ago. Unfortunately, it became erratic after some seawater damage, even though I got the water damage repaired by an authorized Citizen service center. I found I really missed the watch while it was with them, so I needed a new one.Looking for a replacement took me deep down the online horology rabbit-hole and I ended up buying a bargain vintage mechanical winding watch for special occasions, and this as my zero-maintenance everyday one.This watch somehow feels a lot better on the wrist than in it looks in pictures. I was very worried about how awkwardly the crown-guards seem to stick out of the case, but it looks perfectly natural when it’s worn.The strap it comes with is, as many other reviewers have said, absolute garbage. I ordered a replacement at the same time as the watch because I knew I didn’t want it. But even if you like the military aesthetic of the green canvas, it’s terribly uncomfortable with the widely spaced holes making it virtually impossible to adjust to the right size. I tried my best to like it because I felt bad about how much I despised it, but I just couldn’t.What I love about the watch is how easy it is to read. Even the day and date window needs no more than a glance from my 40 year old screen-damaged eyes.The watch is very light, and with a comfortable strap, I can barely feel it on me. It’s arguably a little thick for a quartz watch of it’s diameter, but the light weight sort of makes up for it. Speaking of the case diameter, I wouldn’t recommend it for wrists larger than my 165 millimeters (6.5 inches) unless you’re actively seeking the vintage pilot watch look. But if you are doing that, then you probably want a watch that’s more authentic to the genre. I hope this helps your decision.
