There are plenty of haters out of there of Dolce Men’s Light Blue, but I say, “Not so Fast”..!! Light Blue is a very pleasant scent, easy on the nose, and will get you compliments. Coming out of the bottle, Light Blue offers notes of aquatic, citrus, and a bit of pepper. It then settles down to a musky evergreen fragrance that is very nice. Great job Dolce…

While wearing this today, and shopping for new additions to my collection, was asked about the fragrance… Light Blue has potential Wow Factor..!! It is very versatile, appropriate for any season and any occasion.The longevity is above average, lasting 7+ hours on the skin, and all day on my shirtsleeve. The projection/sillage is surprisingly high – I had given up on the projection when asked about the fragrance. It has all the tools…

Additionally, for those reading my reviews, you know I give a brief critique of the bottle and packaging. Light Blue scores great with bottle design, using a “frosted” glass bottle with great etching of the Dolce logo – you can still see the clarity of the fragrance. The packaging is above average.

The only (minimal) downside is the price/value – Light Blue is riding the female version, and Dolce reputation, keeping the it’s price elevated. There is a “but” – you can now pick up the small bottle for around $30-$35 – which is not too shabby..!!

All things considered, Light Blue falls just outside my Top 10, but I definitely recommend adding to your collection. It is a great scent that provides flexibility/versatility without being overbearing. I give Light Blue 4.5 stars out of 5 stars. It is a long way to the top if you want to rock-n-roll..!!

It is very weird to comment a fragrance since it is something very subjective. All I can say is that this is a GENUINE PRODUCT since I have been using it for years now. The “blue” label applies to lots of fragrances for men from different brands. It means (in my opinion) a light and NOT sweet perfume, not too strong but not fade either. I, personally, have a special reject to strong and sweet perfumes (for men or women) as it gives me headache and nausea. But the “(light) blue” lines of products (whatever brand it is) suit me. Excellent price compared to other places for 100ml.

Good cologne

This is my all time favorite cologne! I wear it for every special occasion and I always get compliments on smelling really nice every time I wear it. Its a little pricey and I’m just a working class schmuck so I wear it sparingly, but I enjoy every opportunity I get to as I always like to dress up and smell nice. 10/10 would recommend!!!

This has been a favorite since the 1990’s & I ensure that it’s always in my cabinet. My bottle from Amazon has not yet arrived, but I certainly am pleased with the price.UPDATE 12/05/14: My bottle from Amazon arrived about two hours ago & it is absolutely perfect is every way. It was packed in a thick-walled carton with 2 large pieces of bubble wrap!! This is IDENTICAL to what I purchase at Dillard’s… However, it costs $40.00 more for the same size bottle (4.2 oz.) & even costs $20.00 more for a smaller bottle (2.5 oz.) at Dillard’s. The round seal (D&G sticker) on the wrapper, the box, the box markings, the bottle, the bottle markings, the scent, the potency are correct!! Therefore, all the conspiracy theorists need to stop the hysteria. Please keep in mind that colognes behave differently from person to person based on a great number of factors. As far as the bottle, which several people have mentioned, it was changed approximately 11 years ago!! Please trust & believe in what I am saying, as I have used this product for 20 years… With respect to manufacturing in another country & ruining its original scent, I don’t agree. However, I must not have that guy’s “keen olfactory” senses… Thank goodness because this is one of my favorite fragrances & has been since its introduction. The “keen olfactory” guy uses it like a deodorizer for his bedding?! Please!! Lastly, Someone else said that it smells like a lemon cleaning agent… C’mon, man, get a grip!! Procter & Gamble is in the business of making money – lots of money – in several different arenas & would not be foolish enough to change anything about the formula of a proven, successful commodity. If I am not mistaken, P&G owns Dolce & Gabbana, Hugo Boss & Gucci fragrance lines. Enough said, right? Folks, please don’t let the foolishness, negativity & misery of some of the reviewers mislead you… I only hit my wrist with one tiny spray from this bottle – right out of the box from Amazon – of Dolce & Gabbana Pour Homme (approximately 2 hours ago) & the scent still is very strong. Authentic cologne at an outstanding price from a truly customer-friendly organization… Thanks to Amazon & its employees for another extraordinary experience.

It took two weeks for the shipment to arrive after I placed the order, and Amazon had sent me a message in the interim telling me that I could cancel the order by a certain date if it did not arrive, which it did not. Consequently, when I received an email from Amazon almost within the same day requesting that I submit a review for the seller, I gave them a negative review. I was wrong in doing so.I ordered and paid for a 6.7 oz. bottle of D&G Light Blue. It is apparent that they were low in stock because what I received was two bottles at 4.2 oz. each. This means that I received 1.7 oz. more than I had paid for. I offer kudos to the folks at Birdy Express for honoring the sale in a way that would benefit the customer. If they should actually read these reviews…I’m sorry for the negative review at your Amazon review page. You fulfilled the order admirably.Concerning the actual cologne:I have read many of the various reviews on Amazon regarding this cologne and I would like to offer a little personal insight. I have worn this scent for several years. My first few purchases were made at Macy’s department store. I noticed back then that although I find it to be a pleasant smelling cologne, it is a weaker scent (my preference because I don’t like an overpowering smell) and it does not endure prominently for long. These factors exist with the genuine product that is sold at a major brick and mortar retailer. I found no difference with the bottles that I received from this Amazon order. Same look, same scent, same strength, same endurance. I have no reason to believe that this is a “fake”, and I am well-pleased with this order.If you like a very refreshing and sweet scented cologne that doesn’t announce your arrival in someone’s personal space fifteen feet before you get to them, this cologne is for you.

When I unwrapped the box that the Cologne was in I gasped at the size of the box. Then upon removing the the Cologne I was horrified to see how small the bottle was for what I paid for. Eighty two bucks for a kid size more sample sized bottle of Cologne.
