These are made of decent material that feels slick to the touch and are thick enough that I wouldn’t confuse them for underwear. They are indeed low rise and form fitting. I haven’t had issues with spilling out of them (yet) but it is a tight fit. They do really show off any bulge you might have so don’t expect these to hide your junk. The main issue for me is that the backside is a bit tight. I followed the sizing guide, but now I wish I had gotten one size larger to help with that. If you’re carrying less on the back then you can probably stick to the size guide, but those more endowed in the front and/or back may want to size up.
