The toe in the boots isn’t super wide, but they’re comfortable and light eeight with great ankle support

The quality of the boots are very stiff, after a few days of usage I could not break them in.
They are very lightweight to walk with, but they become uncomfortable while walking on uphills, the back of my heel rubs onto the back wall of the boot and it’s very uncomfortable, feels like it rubs directly onto plastic or rubber. The boots are waterproof, if they were to make the inside of this boot more comfortable I would definitely rate it 5 star.

I bought these boots because I needed a new pair. These boots have great traction, fit snug while being flexible, and look good. They kept my feet pretty warm throughout winter. I’d advise you get some good insoles to replace the ones that come with the boots, especially if you’re going to be working all day in them. They kind of suffocate your feet, allowing no airflow which could be a good thing and/or a bad thing. Here in NY, we finally got rain today and sadly.. these boots aren’t truly waterproof like they claim to be. Water seemed to make contact with my top outer part of my feet. Once I got home, I did a waterproof test(which I’ve should’ve done first day they arrived). I got some tissue, placed it in the boots, then ran water on the outside of them. In the end, the tissue was wet so they failed the “truly waterproof” test. But I’m not going to knock them too hard, after walking in the rain for a bit to get home from work, my socks weren’t truly soaked (which is why I had to do the waterproof test to make sure I wasn’t just feeling the cold rain and in fact feeling wetness). But they’re good boots, nice firm structure at the ankles but like I said, still flexible.

If you’re looking for a GREAT pair of work boots that are reliable, durable, waterproof with amazing tread, then look no further. As a Professional Automotive Mechanic, as well as an all around Mr. Fix It, I’ve been purchasing XPETI boots for several years now. I love the aggressive tread on the soul as well as the durability of the boot. And being waterproof is always a huge plus. On average I get about 9 months to a year before needing to replace them due to lack of tread and shoe integrity. But that’s only because their on my feet for an average of 16 hours a day. My step counter averages 20,000 steps a day, so these boots are quite tough. If I had to say anything negative about this boot, its that the inner soul cushion isn’t soft enough for me, requiring me to purchase soul inserts for comfort. But still the best pair of boots I’ve ever purchased at this price!!!
