This Umpeimvon three-pack of handmade soap includes a one ounce dropper bottle of rose hip face oil. The soap is cold-processed and contains salicylic acid and volcanic ash for exfoliation and a few vegetable oils to moisturize my skin. The soaps are round, thick, and about two inches in diameter. They’re tan with pretty caramel brown swirls in them. They contain no parabens and are cruelty-free.
When I used the soap, it lathered up well and rinsed cleanly. I noticed no fragrance. I felt no exfoliating effect from the volcanic ash, nor could I see any exfoliant specks. But the salicylic acid certainly acts as an exfoliant. When done washing, my hands felt moisturized thanks to the Shea butter and oils. This soap is quite nice, and it’s good for my face and body. I wasn’t fond of the face oil, though. First, I don’t like putting oil on my face, nor do I think I need it. And second, it has a very strong rose scent, and I don’t like that fragrance in cosmetics. It’s strange that the oil has such a strong rose scent, because it’s a blend of oils, with rose oil as the third ingredient after rose hip oil (that does not smell like roses) and grapefruit oil, and followed by several other floral and fruit oils.
A lot of care was put into the creation of this soap set, and it looks like a quality product for a reasonable price. Even though I don’t want to use the rose hip oil, it does have benefits for the skin, and was a nice addition to the set. Recommended.

Oh my gosh, this soap is wonderful! The fresh, clean scent. The rich, creamy lather. The gentleness on my skin, and how cleanly it rinses. There’s a lot to love about this soap.
I rarely break out at my age but as luck (or unluck) would have it I experienced a breakout just after this set arrived. I started using the soap not expecting much, because what these days actually does what it claims it will, and to my pleasant surprise there was noticeable improvement within just a couple days, a couple more days and the breakout was gone. Wow!
The rosehip oil included with the soap has a soft rose scent, it’s not overpowering, it’s just enough. I’m actually using it as a cuticle oil and the before and after difference is amazing, it makes my cracked cuticles look so healthy!
My normally sensitive skin didn’t experience any irritation with the soap or the oil, not a surprise considering both the soap and oil are made with simple, recognizable ingredients. The price of this set was $9.99 when I ordered it but today I see it’s $6.99. That’s just crazy cheap for something so amazing. I seriously don’t know how this is so inexpensive.

The soap has a pleasant, gender-neutral scent that isn’t overpowering. It lathers really well and rinses away easily. I’m not sure if the little net bag is for holding the soap, but that’s how I’m using it. It makes holding a round soap easier. I did not feel anything grainy or gritty in the soap as you might expect with an exfoliant, and it left my skin feeling soft and smooth. I like this soap! I may keep it all for myself rather than putting a bar in the guest shower, as I originally planned. As someone else mentioned, the rose oil is very strong smelling. I put just a bit on my hand and rubbed it in. My husband noticed the odor as soon as I walked into the room with him a few minutes later. I do want to continue using it, especially since another reviewer remarked that it is helping the skin on her neck…but I am sensitive to strong fragrances. I may end up gifting the oil to someone else. The bottle is nice and has a high-end feel to it since the dropper is made of glass. Overall, I think this set is worth the $10 price tag. It is nicely packaged if you are giving it as a gift.

This is a pretty gift set that comes in a nice gift box. The 3 soaps are very strongly scented & to me, they just smell like a man’s soap. The rosehip oil has a much more pleasant scent that seems better suited for a woman. The soaps just made me sneeze several times so I’m not a fan of them & wouldn’t recommend them to anyone who is sensitive to strong scents. Now the rosehip oil is very nice in that it is easily absorbed by the skin & leaves you feeling very soft, without having a super strong scent. It is a reasonably priced set with a nice presentation, but I would only recommend for someone who likes strongly scented products.

What I Think You May Like:

* They included a soap bag (which minimizes the rate of melting and is great for storing) and facial oil
What I Think You Should Know Before Buying:
* The facial oil does smell more like lemon than a rose hip/rose. But this is a preference issue not really a reason to rule out the soap.
* Other than that, I have nothing to caution or warn you about at the moment. Will update my review should this change.
Conclusion/Recommendation:
Great soap for oily to regular skin. It cleanses well and doesn’t strip your skin. Includes two bonus gifts (storage bag and skin oil). And it’s affordable. I think you will love it.

I love different soaps — fancy ones, simple ones, scented ones — I don’t know why, but I just love soaps.
The first thing I noticed when I opened the package was the lovely floral smell coming from the box. I got excited, thinking it was the soaps… but it wasn’t! It was the rosehip face oil, which has a strong but pleasant scent.
The soaps themselves are little beige pucks with brown swirls. I didn’t notice much of a scent when I unwrapped them, but they are moisturizing and feel nice in your hands. They’re a good size, and as a bonus, maybe they’ll help with my husband’s back acne.
This is a great price for what you get and would make a wonderful gift — for anyone, including yourself!
