I really like this Stream2Sea mineral sunscreen! There’s no white cast, and while it takes a little effort to rub in, it’s manageable. Most mineral sunscreens smell weird on me, but this one doesn’t—I barely notice it’s there. The packaging is small, which makes me think it’s meant for the face, but I use it all over and it works great. Definitely worth the price.

Best tinted sunscreen ever! And EWG-verified. It looks very natural on my fair skin. Easy to apply – I use it as facial make-up basically – and it stay on pretty well. The colour would come off on swimsuit/clothes so I don’t apply it elsewhere

I love the ingredients, biodegradable composition, and intention behind this sunscreen, but my experience with it has been unfortunately less than ideal. The sunscreen does not smear well and is challenging to spread on your skin, leaving you looking pasty white. The product also has a bit of a funky smell that stays in your skin for a day or two after you use it, making the experience unfortunately less than positive. I am hoping the sunscreen’s composition gets improved and I can one day use it again.

EVERYDAY ACTIVE MINERAL SUNSCREEN was highly lauded by the EWG group. I would say that after a a dozen uses that I am very pleased with its protection. This is the primary purpose of sunscreen. However, from a comfort level, the cream, which probably has zinc in it is thick. It’s not that hard to apply on face, but easier if you apply a little moisturizer on first.. The effect is a very white sheen. Personally, I don’t care because I cover the sunscreen with a little tinted foundation or sometimes a tinted face powder. I wouldn’t use this as all over body sunscreen. Too thick for that, but as a face sunscreen it is very good.

I love this brand. I like to contribute a little bit to the ocean and I know this product won’t hurt it. It also has a very nice protection range and you learn how to apply it. It won’t look as a white mask. I simply take my time to apply it to my face. It doesn’t irritate my eyes or my skin. If I want to stay for longer in the sun, I mix it with a 60 SPF protection that make me look white, but at least helps for my melasma

Just know that this sunscreen goes on white. That’s good and bad – it’s zinc oxide. But I would not call it an everyday item. For swimming it’s very good. It doesn’t burn my eyes which is unusual for me either sunscreens for outdoors. (I use sunscreen every day – this was purchased for swimming.)
Blue –
It’s effective but difficult to apply. It is a thick paste, unlike anything I’ve ever tried before. It takes a while to absorb and some areas don’t absorb. When they don’t, the white paste does not simply rub away easily. I am hopeful that the brand is truthful about its “reef safe” claim, as that is the primary reason why I bought it and would recommend it.

Follow the directions on how to apply. I was even able to use this on my face and didn’t break out. I have NEVER been able to do that with any other sunscreen that isn’t made specifically for the face. This stuff is gold.

What I was looking for. Similar to original obagi formula. Yes, thick and hard to smear, always mix with a little moisturizer.
