The “beer gut” factor: Because of that boxy shape, these are actually quite forgiving if you are trying to hide a midsection. However, if you have a leaner build, you might find the extra fabric around the waist a bit baggy.

Versatility: The crew neck is clean and holds its line well, making these perfectly fine to wear on their own with jeans or as a heavy-duty layer under a flannel.

Verdict: If you can find these on sale for closer to $25 or $30, they are a total win. At the full $40 price, it is a bit steep for basic tees. However, if you value a thicker cotton feel and a relaxed, straight fit over a slim-tapered look, these are a dependable wardrobe staple.

Buyers be aware these T-Shirts will shrink greatly when washed and dried. I originally purchased a size large which shrunk to a small. I returned those and purchased an X-Large that shrunk to a medium – perfect fit. If you’re looking for a quality T then I recommend this band. These T-Shirts are a substantially heavier grade material than the other brands and feel very comfortable. Best value for the money.
