I wear a wide shoe with some brands and normal width with others depending on how the side of the shoe is contoured. LAPG seems to only offer standard-width for most of their footwear. I was pleased to find that the standard size fits me well. It’s comfortably padded around the ankle, and the tread gives it good grip on most surfaces. By far my favorite feature for these boots is the side-zip. It’s very easy to get this boot on and off. I have only started wearing them, so time will tell how well they hold up. So far so good.
Jam –
The side-zip feature makes them incredibly convenient for putting on and taking off. This is especially valuable when I need to respond quickly in emergencies or during my duty assignments. The zipper is sturdy and hasn’t shown any signs of wear or malfunction, even after frequent use.
The fit of these boots is outstanding. They offer ample support and comfort, making them suitable for long hours on my feet. The cushioning and arch support provided are noteworthy, and I’ve experienced minimal fatigue, even during extended shifts. Moreover, the boots have ample room for thicker socks, ensuring my feet stay warm and comfortable in colder weather.
The coyote color and design are not only stylish but also practical for blending in with various outdoor and urban environments. The boots are easy to clean and maintain, which is a big plus considering the rugged conditions they often face.
Durability is a key factor for me, and I’m pleased to report that these boots have held up exceptionally well. They have shown no signs of premature wear or damage, even after months of rigorous use. The soles provide excellent traction on various surfaces, and the construction appears solid and reliable.

These turned out to be pretty comfortable. They’re built reasonably well at this price point. However, I’m not a fan of the eyelets. I prefer hook style over all, as my depth perception isn’t good (mostly blind in one eye). Having to relace these is a little on the tough side if I make a mistake.
Still, I can say I was presently surprised by these boots overall.
Jam –
I ordered these boots in a size 10 and they fit my husband’s feet true to size. They are very comfortable and don’t require a break-in period. The side-zip actually works well, so the boots can be laced up as tight as desired. It doesn’t rub weird or bunch up. He’s mostly using these for range days. After a full day, his feet still feel great. Traction on the bottoms is good. The hardware is heavy duty. They seem like they will hold up for a long time. I included some photos of the boots in natural (outdoor) lighting to show the true color.
