I needed a winter coat quickly, and this one worked out extremely well. It’s affordable, long enough to keep in the warmth, and the lining is cozy. The hood is also lined, which helps a lot in cold weather. With a thermal top and this jacket, I stay perfectly warm in 30° weather. It has no logos and a clean, simple look that works with jeans or tights. Great value for the price.

I am actively losing weight and didn’t want to spend a lot on a winter jacket this year as I’m hoping it won’t fit me next winter. 🤞🏼 Living in Minnesota I’m all about layers so I still wanted enough room to wear a fleece or something beneath it when needed. I’m about 5’5”, 175 lbs and Amazon recommended the XL but knowing how that sometimes works I ordered both the XL and the L to see which fit better. I have wide shoulders and not a small chest by any means and not only does the Large fit quite well, it is almost bordering on too large if I wear just a tshirt alone beneath it. So, yeah, I would definitely say to size down on this one unless you plan to wear like 3 thick sweaters under it. lol I usually don’t like fur around my hoods as it gets in the way or caught on the strap of my crossbody bags when taking on and off, but thankfully the fur on this hood zips right off and leaves a fairly decent hood beneath that will still fit a beanie inside and tightens up nicely with a drawstring. The hood itself is also fully removable if I decide to ditch it altogether which I often do when wearing a scarf and thick beanie for outdoor activities like sledding or shoveling dreaded snow. Would I label it as a winter jacket? Not really, but again, I live in Minnesota where temps dipping down past zero is the norm, HOWEVER I am keeping it because I plan to layer and as I said I don’t want to spend much on a jacket I only plan to use for one season. If you live in a climate where winters are mild then yes, this could be a winter jacket for you, otherwise we cold weather folks call this a Fall/Spring jacket. (Hence my removing one star) So, for my purposes of saving money and with the intent of layering for warmth, this will do for one winter. The pockets have snaps which is great to keep gloves from falling out and getting lost, the hood is decent without the fur, and the snaps outside the zipper are nice to keep things snug and cold breezes out. It goes past my hips which is what I prefer these days and has a double zipper for when seated. I chose black in the hopes that it won’t stain as much as some lighter colors since we all know that rubbing up against dirty cars while scraping your windshield sux, and it’s a nice true black. All in all, it’s a solid purchase for the price I paid (was on sale) and it should do what I need it to until Spring if I don’t manage to tear it (it’s not the most durable feeling fabric but you get what you pay for and again, this was on sale.) 👍🏼

I’m 158 and 5′ 10″ and ordered the XXL. Perfect fit! Nice winter jacket! Looks like it will be a good winter jacket. I tried it on, Nice and roomy, so you can still wear a warm sweater underneath without feeling like you can’t move your arms! Zipper works great, as with any double zipper, you have to make sure both zippers are aligned at the bottom to lock in, and they zip just fine. It stayed zipped just fine. I have an actual “ski” coat I wear when it’s snowing for really COLD below FREEZING days. I live in snow country, so this coat might not keep you as warm as a real ski jacket, but for light snow and rainy cold days, this will definitely do the job! The material is soft and kind of silky feeling, hopefully the wer rain won’t go through. AND IT’S super CUTE! I like that it covers the backside too!

This coat is every bit as warm as my down coat. It is just a little heavier. The hood is quite large and covers my eyes almost completely but I’d rather have it that way than too small. The cuffs do a great job of keeping the wind out and the knee length is perfect. I’ve worn it while walking my dog while snow was falling & light rain and it was great. The two way zipper is a little finicky but after a minute of working with it it does the job and the snaps work great. Pockets are deep enough to hold my phone or gloves. I ordered olive green but it’s more of a taupe but I actually like the color just as well. The price was great and I would definitely purchase this coat again and highly recommend.

I am shocked. I have a London fog coat from the early 90’s that still keeps you warm but the elastic has disintegrated and a couple of the snap button have fallen off. I usually get by with a lightweight packable down but this winter has been brutal with negative temps and 30 mph winds and figured it was time to buy a new heavy winter coat. Based on other, positive, reviews, I bought three of these. One for me and 2 for my adult daughters. I have man shoulders and boobs. Typically wear an XXL or 2X shirt because I don’t like my stuff tight. I bought the XXL and it’s a perfect fit. Great across the shoulders and in the underarms. Took the dog out for her walk. Put this coat on over a t-shirt. It was -3 outside. Walked the dog for 15 min and I was warm an toasty. The only thing that was frozen was my face because I didn’t wear my balaclava.

I am SHOCKED at the quality of this coat for $35. It’s a heavier weight coat but not like those ski type coats. The hood zips off, the fur zips off. Has bi directional zipper so you can unzip the bottom a little while sitting. It’s not flimsy. I did not feel the wind through the coat. The lining feels like a soft fleece and outside feels like quilted cloth. Not that plastic feel of packable down.

My dtr is a size 12. She inherited my man shoulders and she normally wears a large top. I bought her the XL because she doesn’t like to be restricted and she can layer. She said the fit was perfect.

We live in southern OH and usually winter isn’t too bad with temps in the 30’s/40’s. Not this year. It’s been VERY cold with significant snow events. If you need a heavy winter coat this is an excellent buy. I am not a fan of cold weather and purposely avoid cold weather events but I imagine this coat would be amazing for anything you do when it’s cold outside. And for the price point, can’t be beat.
