Perfect! I dropped my Beyoncé brand wide tooth comb and it broke! I didn’t want to spend $24 to replace it! This is a perfect replacement! This is great for detangling and combing through hair masks.

I really like this comb. The non-slip aspect is actually a ridge up the side of the spine that helps you hold on to the comb better. Easy to detangle, teeth are strong with a little flex. No sharp or untrimmed edges, so this is comfortable on the scalp.
This review is for the EcoTools Wide Tooth Comb for Curly, Thick Or Wet Hair, Detangling Brush With Sectioning Tip & No-Slip Grip, Bamboo Hair Comb, Eco-Friendly, Vegan & Cruelty-Free, Anti-Breakage, 1 Count

I thought this wide toothed comb was okay.
Yes, it is eco-friendly and with its wide, sturdy teeth, are able to detangle messes with less breakage. The pointy end is actually super helpful for styling, if you are picking up sections of hair to blow dry or curl, etc. It’s also quite large – photo of hand for comparison.
However, as the handle is quite thin with no grip, I found it hard to hold and it spun in my hand, especially as I combed through my thick hair. I ended up in having to hold the comb by the base of the teeth area rather than the handle.
I would only use this for styling or if I had to comb through wet hair, but it would not be my everyday – I will still stick to my paddle brush.

Cannot overstate how happy I am with this comb. I have very thick curly hair that loves to knot itself up and tangle at every opportunity. I smelled like green apples constantly as a child from the amount of detangling spray my mom used on me. As an adult, I had resigned myself to a life of only brushing my hair in the shower and only using my fingers to comb it into place every morning, but I knew there had to be a better way.
I’d used combs before, but only the cheap, thin plastic ones that my hair always broke with ease. I own some Ecotools makeup brushes and love them, so when I saw that they had come out with a wide tooth comb, I knew I had to try it, and I’m so glad I did because it’s basically everything I could’ve wanted!
It’s thick, easy to reposition mid-comb, easy to hold, and surprisingly rips way less hair out of my head than combing with my fingers does. The end is also very useful for parting. And most importantly, it keeps my curls intact after combing! It being made out of recycled materials is also a huge plus. I can’t recommend this comb enough, of course with the caveat that, since this is my first “nice” comb, I don’t have much to compare it to, but I’m really very happy with it.

This is a good brand as we’ve bought many of their products from Target. It’s a nice material (smooth), easy to use (not heavy to hold) for detangling curly hair. It’s like a pick which I have many of for my natural curly hair. It’s also good for dry hair if you like to add a little lift and tease your hair a little.

This comb works well for what I like to call ‘non-detail’ combing. It is not going to be even the least bit helpful for a full on brush through, but it will help when hair is cooperating. My youngest has such curly hair that you can spend ages carefully combing out every tangle with a fine tooth comb and if you try to brush it through afterwards, you’ll find new tangles despite not having done anything with her hair. She’s got thick, beautiful curls, but it lives in disarray. This comb helps when her hair doesn’t need a very intense comb through and/or when she needs a nice sharp part, but it definitely won’t be the ONLY comb or brush that is used on her hair. Because of the wide teeth in this comb, it runs through hair a lot easier and catches less frequently. It has a solid spot in the hair brushing process (because yes…it is very much a process) with thick, curly hair, and I’m glad to have it. It’s a solid value for being made of bamboo instead of plastic.

Good comb. Has held up great for a couple months I’ve used it so far. Had it in the shower to detangle the curls and it works well. The pointed end is good for getting hair parted. I will be buying again if somehow mine breaks or I lose it

This detangling and sectioning brush is great for getting through tough tangles on my toddler’s head without causing pain. The pick-end is perfect for sectioning, or getting scalp parting to behave. Love the eco friendly bamboo material.
It’s a good brush in all ways but one – it’s quite large, with very long teeth ideal for more afro-centric hair than what our coiling straight hair genetics have to offer. This means, we have a lot more length in tooth than is necessary, which makes wielding this brush a bit, well, unwieldy. Some reviews mention the handle is terrible, but for a brush like this the handle is the teeth – and that’s not something I thought about when it’s necessary to chase my toddler around with as she runs away. I think a smaller brush would be ideal instead of this, for our needs.
