I am not sure if maybe I purchased the wrong size, but my son is in a nature preschool and often comes home with sand in his feet. (my son is typically a size 9 in shoes and I sized up to a 10 per his nature school recommendation due to wearing thicker wool socks). I do like that they’re on the wider side and he can slide his foot in and out easy but not a fan of the dirt and sand that gets in.

My son loves these boots because of the color. I love these boots because they are very durable, sturdy play shoes that would last more than one child. They do fit slightly on the bigger side so don’t size up too much as they will fall off easier. This is not our first or last pair.
