I was pleasantly surprised by this set both with quality and selection. I thought with it being a cheaper brand that it would be less pigmented and take more coats to get full coverage, but I was wrong. Two coats were plenty even in the very light shades! It’s also not thick consistency so makes it easy to use, there are two or three chunky glitters that are a bit thick to apply but that’s expected. The glitters are very sparkly and it has a good selection of shades without them being too similar so definitely a good starter set for those wanting to expand their colour collection. It comes with a base coat, top coat and a matte top coat but I haven’t used them as I have a different brand I prefer. The plastic tray is also sturdy and a good way to display colours on a shelf. I can’t say anything about wear as so far I’ve only swatched all the colours but I’ll be using them soon for a valentines set.

Colours are lovely but doesn’t come with glitter top coat as indicated in the photo!

You get decent amount of nail polish for the price, yes the bottles are not that big, but realistically it works for me since I don’t like wasting product. The first layer should be thin and the 2nd layer could be a bit thicker. Keep in mind that if you mess you go a bit too thick on the second layer you can wipe off the polish with alcohol and it won’t affect the first layer.

Follow the instructions

File your nails/buff your nails(you can buy this at dollar tree or Sally’s)

Add your dehydrator, then primer(you will need to purchase this separately-it’s super cheap on Amazon-like $6)

Add your first top coat that’s provided to you in this kit.(you may need to wipe off sticky residue after curing with alcohol depending on the product-wipe off with a cotton swab)

Then add your fist coat of polish and cute-wipe off residue with alcohol

Add your second layer of polish-again, wipe off sticky residue with alcohol swab.

Add your top coat or add 2 layers of the top coat. It’s all up to you and your style preference.

Don’t let other people’s review discourage you from buying this product. This is why prepping your nails is important to avoid any chipping or uneven application.

If you get any polish in the grooves of your nail then you can use a nail file to file it down.
