Great and quiet –
I’m hard on my work boots. These have lasted going on 5 months now without even a rip or tear where the crappy ones from Wally-World that LOOK similar to these do good to last 2 1/2 to 3 weeks.
I’ll never waste my time or money on cheaper and less quality boots again.
Bates- if you’re reading these PLEASE KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK.
These boots are easy to polish and clean, lightweight, the zipper is high quality with zero problems. They are worth the money.

I ordered my normal size, and my toes didn’t reach the tip of the boot. Would likely fit I went down half a size. Need to find a steel-toed variant.

I work in EMS and I am incdeibly hard on my boots. I have tried many brands and styles over the years and this is the brand and type of boot that I have found to take the punishment. I would higly recomend this boot to any first responder!

I’ve been buying Bates for years because they’re very good boots that last a long time. The one thing I haven’t liked with previous Bates boots is the first open eyelet that is out of line with others and always made it difficult to tighten the laces. These Sport 2 boots improved that alignment a lot. And these boots are lighter. They’re maybe an inch shorter than others, but they still offer great ankle support. One other thing I’ve noticed recently is a lot of boots and shoes have very poor craftsmanship. The leather is cut too short to the sole and filled in with marker. That was not at all the case with these boots. Maybe that was a COVID production thing. I hope so. It’s premature for me to comment on durability because I just bought them, but I looked them over thoroughly, and they seem to be made and stitched just like all my other Bates pairs. The others are still wearable. These things last forever. You obviously eventually wear down the treads, but it takes a while.
