The multiple shade options are helpful for matching different hair colors and I found a good match for my medium brown eyebrows. However, despite the long-lasting and waterproof claims, the color starts noticeably fading by mid-afternoon, especially in areas where I tend to touch my face or if I get sweaty during workouts. The smudge-proof feature works reasonably well for normal daily activities but doesn’t hold up to rubbing or vigorous face washing. One thing that bugs me is that the liquid formula can sometimes apply unevenly, creating darker patches if you go over the same area multiple times while it’s still wet. The ease of use is definitely there – no pumping required and the pen format makes it travel-friendly for touch-ups throughout the day. The cruelty-free aspect is appreciated and the packaging is straightforward without unnecessary bulk. For the price it’s comparable to other liquid brow products though the staying power doesn’t quite live up to the waterproof marketing. The natural finish when first applied is the strongest selling point. Would I buy it again? What I love about this pen is that my eyebrows look fuller without having to add extensions or get them tattooed in. The pen itself is completely painless, which is amazing and so easy to use. I can either apply this before or after I apply my foundation and you can still see how full they look. I even went swimming after applying this and not only did they still look fuller, it lasted a lot longer than my foundation did. The only time I noticed that it comes off with water, is when I’m using my face soap to remove all makeup. Other than that, long lasting even during this summer heat. Not to mention, the color matches so there is nothing that looks off or that I am using makeup to make them look fuller.
