I had to learn some TOUGH lessons when I switched to press ons, but the worst habit I had was just pulling them off when the edges lifted. DO NOT BE ME, DO NOT DO THAT. That will strip the surface of your nails, and in one case it pulled a nail away from my skin and caused damage that I have not fully healed 6 months later. So, I have ordered several solutions and this one works pretty well. You just drip it in under your free edge of the nail (I use a cuticle stick to hold the edge up and then put a drop or two in). The only issue with this formula is it is REALLY runny/liquidy, so you drip a lot all over and lose a lot from under the nail – but it does help dissolve the nail glue and makes it much safer to remove the nail. You just let it sit for a minute or two and it loosens up the glue bond and you can use the cuticle stick to peel it off without taking your nail with it.

I wear press on nails a lot and I am so happy that there seems to be a trend lately in new glues and glue removers for press ons. This is a glue remover that works on gel glue, regular glue, and sticky tabs. It quickly dissolves the adhesive and makes removing my press ons much easier. I soak my nails in warm water and then lift the edges with the included cuticle stick and squeeze just a drop of the glue around my cuticles so it can soak in underneath. After letting it sit for a minute or so I just use the stick to lift up all the way around and the nail pops right off. I really like this glue remover because I feel like there is less damage to my natural nails when I use this to remove my press ons.

I use this with the companion gell glue, which has taken my nail process to a new level. It dissolves the glue easily and I can change out my nails in only a few minutes. My only complaint is that it is very thin. That does help it get under the nail easily, but it drips badly and that seems to be wasteful. I will buy it again.
