These Rocky 8-inch boots are extremely comfortable right out of the box. The athletic-inspired design really shows—lightweight feel, good flexibility, and solid support for long hours on your feet. I’ve worn them for work and everyday use, and they never felt stiff or heavy.
The fit is true to size, with plenty of ankle support without feeling restrictive. Traction is excellent on a variety of surfaces, and the build quality feels durable enough to handle daily wear. They also break in quickly, which is a big plus compared to traditional work boots.
If you want a boot that feels more like a sneaker but still offers the height, protection, and support of an 8-inch boot, these are a great choice. I’d definitely buy them again.

I absolutely love these boots! I work for corrections, so these really help me get through my day! The soles are so soft, and yet durable for long hours! I can run in them, because they feel like track shoes! It’s feels so amazing to being recommended these!

I normally wear a size 12 in most boots and shoes, but with these Rocky Code Blue 8” boots I had to go with a 12 Wide for a comfortable fit. I first tried the regular size 12, but they felt too narrow and were digging into the back of my ankle, especially when walking or standing for longer periods.
Once I switched to the 12W, they fit great. The boots are very comfortable for long shifts, provide good ankle support, and feel lightweight compared to other duty boots I’ve worn. The polishable leather looks sharp and the overall build quality feels solid and durable
If you’re considering these boots and are even slightly wide-footed, I’d definitely recommend ordering the wide size. Overall, very happy with the purchase.
